Get to know Emily’s Hounds
Hi, I’m Emily, founder of Emily’s Hounds, a professional dog walking service based in Chester
Animals have always been a huge part of my life (for as long as I can remember!). Having grown up surrounded by dogs, as well as chickens and rabbits, I wanted to spend every spare minute with them, sparking my passion for caring for animals from a young age, it felt like a natural part of who I am.
Every dog is different, and I absolutely love getting to know each dog and seeing their individual characters come to life. Whether your dog wants to say hello to everyone, is nervous, excitable, those that simply love a good sniff, or prefer their own space, my aim is to make every walk an adventure. I believe every dog deserves to have fun, explore and enjoy their time outdoors!
I decided it was time to set up Emily’s Hounds and follow my true passion, making friends with as many dogs as possible along the way
Being a dog owner for 30 years and working in animal rescue sites, I have gained hands-on experience in both animal rescue and kennels. Meeting dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs and temperaments, which has helped me to develop a calm, patient and understanding approach to every dog I meet. Our dog walks are tailored to meet the needs of each individual and whilst they are with us we treat them as our own.
My passion for animals also led me to complete a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, as well as Canine First Aid Training, so you can feel confident knowing your furry family member is in safe and caring hands.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know you and your four-legged best friend and hopefully becoming one of their favourite people!
